STREAMLINE FINAL EVENT | ESRF

The Streamline project, which formally concluded on 14 May 2024, had adapted ESRF user operation procedures and piloted new access modes and services exploiting automation at the beamlines. To share our collective achievements and celebrate the milestones reached, the STREAMLINE final event took place on Thursday 11 April 2024, in the ESRF Auditorium (EPN Campus, Grenoble) in a hybrid format, allowing all interested external participants to join as well. If you missed the session, you can check the recordings here below!

  • Streamline Final Event Introduction – M. Krisch

  • PUMA: a datamining dashboard for research facilities – S.Monaco and R.Duyme

  • Data processing and processed data – A. Götz

  • Co-designed with industry: new high throughput routine services – E. Capria and A. Papazoglou

STREAMLINE DISSEMINATION EVENT | Science Business Public Conference

In 2024, Science|Business celebrated 20 years alongside the EU’s 40th anniversary of its first Framework Programme (FP) for research. At their Annual Public Conference, global leaders reviewed the FPs’ impact, discussed Europe’s role in R&D, and explored future directions. It was the perfect occasion to spotlight ESRF-EBS achievements and the STREAMLINE project’s impact, supported by the EC, showcasing advancements in science, technology, and collaboration.

Here below are the recordings from the sessions of the ESRF’s participation in the S|B Annual Public Conference.

“Next gen” infrastructures as enablers to solve tomorrow’s industrial and societal challenges

Keynote speeches by  Bernd Hinrichsen, Momentum Transfer Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, and  Edith Heard, EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) Director General an; Professor, Collège de France

Panel discussion featuring: Bernd Hinrichsen, Edith Heard, Marie-Ingrid Richard (CEA Scientific Researcher and ESRF Visiting Scientist) Michael Arentoft (European Commission Head of Unit, Open Science & Research Infrastructures, DG RTD), and  Michael Krisch, ESRF ad interim Director of Research for Life Sciences, Chemistry, and Soft Matter Science.

Extremely Brilliant: Will synchrotrons help to unlock the secrets of the universe?

♦ Speech and a live Q&A with Francesco Sette, ESRF Director General.

ESRF tomography: seeing the invisible.

At the ESRF, we offer multiscale imaging with a wide range of X-ray energy (20-300 keV), that allows imaging of any kind of samples, from every sector, with pixel size from 100 microns down to 10 nanometres. Discover synchrotron tomography at the ESRF and contact us to find out how this technique supports industry to provide technological solutions to global challenges.
